The Blair Center for Training and Pastoral Health at Southwest Baptist University aims to support and encourage pastors and other leaders in ministry to navigate the stressors and demands that accompany leadership and ministry. This website provides multiple resources and ways to connect, giving pastors and ministerial staff tools to help deal with the struggles that come with ministry.
Dr. Bill DuVall serves as the Executive Director for the Blair Center for Training and Pastoral Health. Dr. DuVall is the Dean of the Geneva Casebolt College of Arts & Sciences and has taught as a Psychology professor at SBU since 2015. Dr. DuVall holds a Master of Theology (ThM) and PhD in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Julie have been married for 29 years. They have three children: Elijah (and his wife Grace), Aidan, and Abbey.
